SCCADVASA is launching a new prevention campaign to encourage teens and young adults across South Carolina to become active participants in helping prevent sexual violence. Campaign creative promotes boundaries, communication, consent, and bystander intervention and encourages people to seek out additional resources at www.levelupforchange.org.
From September – December 2023, SCCADVASA will be reaching teens and young adults through statewide social media advertising, billboards, digital publications, and digital advertising. The campaign is launching during what is commonly referred to as “The Red Zone.” Occurring between the beginning of fall semester through Thanksgiving break, The Red Zone is when students, particularly freshmen, are most susceptible to sexual assaults on campus.
Specifically, billboards and digital will be served up to college-ages students and visitors at Furman University, University of South Carolina, Clemson, College of Charleston, and Coastal Carolina University. Messages geared towards teens and their parents will be shared on social media and in partnership with 6AM City in Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston.
We are thrilled to once again partner with Online Optimism who has done a fantastic job creating imagery and messaging that appeals to these demographics.
